The High-tech Treasure Hunt incorporates geocaching with core team and leadership workshop topics. 5.12 Solutions is one of the first Colorado based training companies to integrate the booming sport of geocaching, where people search for caches using a Global Positioning System (GPS) device, with team building. We developed this program because it creates a unique dynamic that brings out the best in team building and leadership competencies as they apply to the work place.
Unique, experiential, unforgettable
Simply put, teams work together to find hidden caches/treasures, and, upon arrival, complete team challenge activities. The High-tech Treasure Hunt format is designed for people of all fitness levels. Most importantly, it provides groups with a unique experience, enabling them to explore the team dynamics that result in enhanced communication, collaboration, leadership, and conflict resolution skills needed in the workplace. The program truly integrates the best of corporate training with outdoor experiential education. Our expert facilitators are experienced business people, having spent years in both corporate and government work environments. Focusing on our clients' workshop objectives, we create an experience for participants to enhance their "soft skills" and provide rich training tools to make them successful in the workplace. The High-tech Treasure Hunt elements lead to creative and innovative discussion on leadership and team competencies as they relate to the work environment. As with all of our team building workshops, we operate under a Challenge by Choice philosophy where people make decisions individually and not as a result of peer pressure.
