That’s not leadership!
Last Monday night I was running with a local group at the Fleet Feet retail store in Boulder, Colorado (my home town). While talking to a friend about his current job, he mentioned that his company is going through difficult times. But, what I found inspiring was that his company is committed to doing everything possible to avoid layoffs and that as a small software development firm, they recognize the value of their people. The management team is leading the way in this effort by being the first to take pay cuts.
